Missing and murdered indigenous women & girls

Violence Against Aboriginal Women Research Project

Select and research one of the following topics posted below as they connect to violence against Indigenous women and girls.  You will use your findings to create a podcast that informs listeners about your topic.  Make sure you articulate the connection of the topic to murdered and missing Indigenous women and girls.
 
Your podcast style can be:
  • 1:1 expert interview (role play)
  • Co-hosted (often conversational) podcast
  • Solo Monologue (commentary/information on a specific topic)
  • Narrative/storytelling
 
Choose a style that fits the topic.  This means you will need to consider the mood you are hoping to evoke and choose accordingly (ex. serious, shocking, inspiring).  You will use your voice (volume, emotion, emphasis, and pacing) as well as sound track choice to create your desired mood.
